With several different labels and info in the guest book, determining garbage days was a bit confusing, so we watched what the neighbors seemed to be doing with garbage cans. Responses to inquiries during and after booking the home were quickly answered which we considered a plus! This is a lovely villa, home and base for a stay in Florida. I would definitely recommend it. My only slight reservation was that the pool was in shade for much of the day. excellent house, the only problem is that he had no crockery for 8 people This is the second time we have visited this property. Both times we have been extremely happy with property. This was the best vacation ever. My children enjoyed the game room and pool. My husband and I enjoyed the wildlife. The villa is immaculate and we plan on coming back next year. It was peaceful and very close to all of the attractions. The pictures does not show you all of the features. It is really worth it. This villa was absolutely incredible. The location was prime as always (we have stayed at two different houses on Prairie Point) The house has a great open layout and was extremely comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were immaculate. (I am very picky about cleanliness) The villa manual was very elaborate. Communication with the home owner was great. I would definitely rent this villa again and highly recommend it. Villa was perfect for our party of 7 adults. Ideally located for all attractions and golf courses. Pool was excellent with great views of the wildlife across the lake behind the villa. The villa also had everything you would need for a holiday stay. Highly recommended !! Thanks, and we look forward to staying next year!!! everything was perfect, a special thanks to REnée in the clubhouse of Glenbrook we would recommend this villa to anyone, we were close to shops, disney and lots of eating places. the kids loved the pool which was always kept very clean. We have stayed in this house with our 3 kids (age 11-13) from July 8th until July 16th 2010 and we had a wonderful time. Everything went exactly as promised on the website (key in the keybox with access code) and a binder with all necessary information was on the table when we came in. I can recommend Jim's company to anyone as a reliable party to deal with. The house itself was very big (bigger than it seems on the pictures); very clean, nice pool and situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, with a pond located at the back and at the right side (at the left side there is another house quite close). As far as I can judge (this was our first time in Florida), this is really a very well situated house, since I have seen a lot of residential areas where the houses and pools are just a few meters away from each other at all sides. It is also well situated if you want to visit the theme parks (15-20 minutes drive). For people who are worried about the climate during summer, I must say that this was not bad at all during our stay; temperatures between 32-35 °C, very humid of course so you have a kind of a "sauna" effect when you walk out, but we found this rather nice. Inside the house, there is an air conditioning system that is working very well (although a little noisy for the people sleeping upstairs at night) that can be controlled very precise so we could easily create a good temperature during the night and day - not too cold and not too warm. During the day you will have sunny and cloudy periods, yet you can also have sudden and heavy rainfall or thunderstorms; this typically does not last longer than 1-2 hours or so and after the temperatures are rising again, so you forget about it quite rapidly. We had 1 more severe storm during a few hours in the afternoon with heavy winds and even a short power supply cut. Attention; when a thunderstorm approaches and you are in a theme park (we had the case in Universal Studios), they close all outdoor attractions as a safety measure, so you can find yourself in a waiting line sent away for an hour or so, so this may be a reason not to visit a theme park when weather forecast is too bad... Some other small details that we have found positive and negative about the house; very good water heating system; "nice showers", this may sound like a detail, but it we find this important. Wireless internet (although it would be more practical to have a PC available since I had to surf on my small mobile device), the games room and the washing machine and tumble dryer. The mattress quality of the bed (master bedroom downstairs) was a little less in our opinion, but that's personal I guess; TV set in the living room was a little outdated and many of the (digital) TV chains were "locked" for parental control reasons; I cannot see the relevance of locking CNN for example... but you don't fly all the way to Florida to watch TV, so not a major point. Some last words about the kitchen; it had a nice fridge, toaster and microwave, but for the rest the kitchen accessories were "poor" in our opinion. This is although something that could be resolved easily, without spending loads of money; it is not so nice if everyone must eat from different styles of plates, cups etc and if your fork is bending when you push too hard on it. With the pots and pans present you are not able to prepare a decent meal. After several days of overcheesed pizza and burgers we were looking forward to prepare a simple meal in the house, but we had to use our imagination in order to get everything cooked... You will not regret booking this house if you plan a vacation in Florida, whenever you would do so, give our regards to the nice chipmunk who was running over the pool screen every morning ; We had an absolutely great time, the house was first class it ticked all our boxes & more. The maintenance guy was very efficient and helpfull, the pool was clean & well maintained. We would certainly consider booking this house again. Also anything you could possible need is less than a minute away. Groceries, gas, pharmacy, resteraunts, dry cleaner, you name it its here. The sun rises directly opposite the patio area in the morning and the swimming pool is in full sun all day until around 5-6pm. I play for a womens softball team in California and we rented the house for our entire team, including family. It was probably the best idea we could of had. The price per person was unbeatable. We used the kitchen quite a bit and had almost everything we needed when cooking. One of the bedrooms upstairs did have have some ants come in from somewhere in the middle of the night so one of the girls got a little freaked out but other that that our stay was great. Having the pool was a big plus because we did have a couple of kids that probably would have been real bored all weekend if they didnt have the pool. We had 13 people of all ages living there and not once did it feel crowded. It is very near the disney resorts but not to close so tha An excellent house in an ideal location. We found the owner to be very helpful, and have no reservations in recommending this property. everything was great. please keep in touch if you have any specials. However the support given to us via email and telephone calls was first class, as was the cleanliness, location and facilities associated with the villa of our choice. It was terrific value for money and we look forward to repeating the experience soon. I loved this villa! It was clean and comfortable, and also ideally located.I have missed it every day since. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GROUP. We visited this home in February of 2006 and have highly recommended this home to our friends when they comment they may taking a vacation to Florida. It was wonderful. I give it 5*****. all the comforts of home at a resonable price. The best thing about this villa is its location. If Disney is your thing then it really is only 10 mins by car. There are 5 or 6 great golf courses within 10-20 mins drive and many great eating places again 5-10 mins away. When we go back next year we will want this villa again. This home was in a very convenient and quiet location, ideal for all disney parks. Everything you could need for a family holiday was provided in this house. We had a lovely stay. The management team although from Scotland UK were first class in communication even though my wife travelled from Texas. The accomodation was excellent and the local house manager was very discreet and perfectly took care of our needs. Will be using them again, so should you! a lovely villa. We all had a great holiday. One of the best vacation homes ever! Felt like home away from home. It was much appreciated!!! Thank you! A ++++ |
